Full Time in No Time

Well, today was like the first day of kindergarten.

Lunch packed, ready to go.  Running the standard 12 minutes behind.

Today was my first day back to work. . .full time.

No more Monday morning sleep ins, or early dismissal Wednesdays.

Made it through the day with my office-mate, Mary.
We share the details of life, talk about mentor programs, and other important subjects like, is it better to read the Hunger Games before or after seeing the movie.

Oh the pressing questions of this generation.

Today Mary bought some birthday cake Oreos. . .um, yum.
Funfetti icing in a cookie shell!

I partook.  Before lunch.

Next came lunch.  I made turkey chili yesterday.  Mixed everything I could think of in a crock pot and let it simmer for hours.  Presto-four hours later I get what looks like a heavenly pot of
scrumptious moist kitty food.

The turkey chili definitely looked like Whiska's for dinner.

I took some to work, but covered it with green stuff.

Haters gonna hate.

I read grant proposals today, did the customary work emails, and even left myself a snack for tomorrow.

I'm so grateful to be back at FRIENDS FIRST full time.  There are so many adventures to take.  And danger for any co-worker who reads this and eats my snack,
knowing I won't make it in until 8:30 tomorrow.

Happy 75th day since surgery.

Things are looking up.
